THE WILL OF GOD

Heb 10:36-39-FOR YE HAVE NEED OF PATIENCE, THAT, AFTER YE HAVE DONE THE WILL OF GOD, YE MIGHT RECEIVE THE PROMISE.
FOR YET A LITTLE WHILE, AND HE THAT SHALL COME WILL COME, AND WILL NOT TARRY.
NOW THE JUST SHALL LIVE BY FAITH: BUT IF ANY MAN DRAW BACK, MY SOUL SHALL HAVE NO PLEASURE IN HIM.
BUT WE ARE NOT OF THEM WHO DRAW BACK UNTO PERDITION; BUT OF THEM THAT BELIEVE TO THE SAVING OF THE SOUL.

Mk 3:35-For WHOSOEVER SHALL DO THE WILL OF GOD, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother.

Ro 12:2-And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that, good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

2 Cor 8:5-And this they did, not as we hoped, but first gave their own selves to the Lord, and unto us by the will of God.

Eph 6:5,6-Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ. Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart.

1 Pet 4:2-That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh…, but to the will of God.

1 Jn 2:17-And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

Repentance should bring change to a person’s life. That change is this—a person puts off the ways of this world and puts on the ways of God according to the Scriptures. In other words, he begins to do the WILL OF GOD.

As a person grows in faith coupled with love, he also grows in obedience to God’s Word. The more he grows, the more he should detest every way that is contrary to God’s Word. He should begin to hate every false way-Ps 119:104.

Little faith, little growth, little obedience.
Little obedience = dull of hearing, a Corinthian type of Christian, a Laodicean or Sardis type of Christian. 2 Pet 3:18-(A repentant person) needs to: grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To grow in grace and knowledge, a person needs to be in God’s Word, and must also obey God’s Word. Growth should lead to obedience and love, and finally perfection.

God’s will is that ye be perfect-2 Tim 3:17; James 1:4; And perfect in love-ref 1 Jn 4:18. Love God and obey His Word completely with a perfect heart.

THE WILL OF GOD. GOD’S WILL. HIS WILL.
Do any of these fit you?
     DULL OF HEARING
     RIGHT IN THEIR OWN EYES
NO EARS TO HEAR OR UNDERSTAND

Is your conversation centered around God’s Word or the things of this life?

     Do you fellowship with unbelievers?

1-Can anyone here justify with God’s Word that it is God’s will that you fellowship with unbelievers?

2 Tim 2:4-No man that warreth (or is saved and is a soldier of Christ) entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.
2-Can anyone here justify entangling yourself in the affairs of this life?

Mt 4:10-Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. In other words, it is clear that if a person goes back to this world to serve it, it is Satan that is speaking to them to do so, not the Lord.
3-Can anyone here justify going back to your worldly occupation (even in part), after God has freed you, by His grace, to serve Him, as it is written?

God frees us from the yoke of all bondage, so we can serve Him without distraction.

So Satan puts in our mind that we can compromise; and our deceived, thorny, or stony, or lukewarm heart wants to follow Jesus and this world also.
Does this fit you?
